Well, technically it is still spring, but the sun is shining, school is out and the weather is warming.

Soon I will be posting more photos, sculptures first and then a batch of drawings. The drawings will need to wait until I have relocated, as I am moving in a week or so. So look the first batch in a couple of days, and then some more in another week or two.

It is too nice outside to sit at the computer, so I am off on a bike-ride.

Well, I am back from my vacation and have started school again.

Over the next couple of days, I will post the more interesting photos from my trips to visit family in Wisconsin and Arizona. Classes are just starting, so don't expect any artwork for a while yet.

Time for winter break!

I just added my final projects for sculpture, a polar bear and a figure study. Now is the time for a little vacation, some winter cheer and presents!

It's taken me a while to get photos of what I've been working on. There will be more when the semester ends, but here's the first batch.

School has been going pretty well, although this semester's painting class has been, well, frustrating. Unfortunately, I am not the only one who is feeling this way and we are all rather disappointed with the teacher. She has not been giving any guidance this semester, and the assignments have been really vague. One assignment was especially frustrating since halfway through it, we discovered that we did not understand what she wanted (again, not just me but most of the class).

Next semester I will be taking a break from painting, at least class-wise. Perhaps I will do some on my own, though. Instead, I will be taking Sculpture and Life Drawing, both of which should be a kick.

Well, school started a couple of weeks ago, and soon(ish) I should have some new work to post. It is Autumn again, one of my favorite times of year, so I expect there will be some photos as well.

This semester, I have Intermediate Painting, Beginning Sculpture, Art History and Creative Writing. Over the summer I took my math and communications requirements, so I thought I'd concentrate on the fun stuff this term.

Not much is new here in the Last Frontier (of which, technically, Anchorage is not really considered a member--at least by people who live outside Anchorage), unless you are into Politics.

Although I am, I won't go into things here. This is my Art journal, so I will leave it at that.

Changed residences over the summer. Biked often. Took classes. Did nothing terribly artistic.

Really looking forward to this year.
